Barbara Benedetti was an American theatre and film actor from Seattle. She is most well-known for starring in a series of Doctor Who fan films by Seattle amateur film maker Ryan K. Johnson, in which she played the Doctor, making her the first woman to ever be cast in the role, if only in an inofficial capacity. She passed away from cancer in November 1991, aged 38.
